Mbappe's brace lands PSG In UCL Quarterfinals as Bayern Cruise past Lazio

Kylian Mbappe scored a brace to lead Paris Saint-Germain into the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League following a 2-1 win at Real Sociedad. Luis Enrique’s men won the Round of 16 tie 4-1 on aggregate.

PSG took the lead in the 15th minute at the Reale Arena.

The Frenchman received a pass from his compatriot Ousmane Dembele and fired a curling effort into the far corner after making a run into box.

Mbappe scored the second goal four minutes before the hour mark.

Mikel Merino reduced the deficit a minute from time.

Super Eagles forward, Umar Sadiq was an unused substitute for Real Sociedad in the game.

Elsewhere, Harry Kane struck twice to steer Bayern Munich to a comfortable 3-1 win over Italy’s Lazio.

The reigning Bundesliga champions scaled through 3-1 on aggregate.

Kane headed Bayern in front in the 38th minute, while Thomas Muller added the second in first half stoppage time.

Kane tapped home the third in the 66th minute.
