An agricultural summit called the “The feed Nigeria” with the focus on exploiting the massive potential of agricultural sector will be held in Lagos.
The summit with the theme: “Feed Nigeria to Feed Africa,” will hold on 6th and7th April, 2017 at the Grande Ballroom, Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.

According to the organisers of the event, the summit draws inspiration from the Feed Africa agenda – one of the five principal policy thrusts of the African Development Bank (AfDB), as championed by its current President and former Nigerian Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina.

The organizers, AgroNigeria, in conjunction with its collaborators, strongly believes that Nigeria should be at the forefront of this laudable policy initiative, especially at this period of immense economic pressure stemming from dangerous global fluctuations in the price of oil.

The organizes said that the summit will address key national agricultural productivity issues like finance, market access, research, infrastructure, mechanization, ICT, youth and gender as well as appropriate policies and legislation in the sector.
