The purpose of this course is to introduce prospective students who are interested in starting a career as a media writer/journalist.
What it does is that it gives background insights to learning how to write for print journalism, broadcast journalism, and public relations.
Students will be taught the process involved in writing hard news story, online story, feature story, press release, and broadcast script, editing and revising, with the ultimate goal of becoming more effective writers.
